Terms of Use
Last updated 17 August 2026
The short version. The software is free and open source under Apache-2.0, and you self-host it. Nothing on this website is a contract. The prices shown are indicative; a paid tier only exists once both sides have signed something.
Because you run it yourself, the software comes with no warranty and we cannot be liable for what it does on your infrastructure.
1. The software
AI Monitoring is distributed under the Apache License 2.0. Your rights to use, modify and redistribute it come from that licence, and where anything on this page appears to conflict with it, the licence wins. The authoritative text ships in the repository as LICENSE.
The Apache-2.0 disclaimer applies in full: the software is provided "as is", without warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied. You deploy it, you operate it, and you are responsible for what it does in your environment.
2. This website
These pages are informational. Descriptions of capability reflect what the software did at the time of writing and may drift ahead of or behind the code; the repository is the source of truth. Nothing here is a warranty, a guarantee of fitness for any particular purpose, or an offer capable of acceptance.
3. Pricing and tiers
- Community is free. Clone it and run it. No account, no card, no email to us required.
- Team and Enterprise prices shown on this site are indicative. They are a starting point for a conversation, not a published tariff, and they may change without notice.
- A paid relationship exists only under a separate written agreement signed by both parties. That agreement governs support commitments, service levels, data processing, invoicing and termination. Until one exists, no paid obligation binds either side.
4. Acceptable use
AI Monitoring is built to give an organisation visibility into AI tooling on systems it owns or administers. Deploying it to monitor people without the notice and legal basis their jurisdiction requires is your responsibility and may be unlawful. The software ships with pseudonymisation on by default and a consent-notice mechanism, and we would ask you not to defeat either.
Do not use the name or branding in a way that suggests we endorse, support, or have audited your deployment.
5. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the software or this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
6. Security reports
We welcome them. Send vulnerability reports to
security@getaimonitoring.com, or follow
security.txt. Please give us a
reasonable window to fix an issue before disclosing it publicly. We will not
pursue legal action against good-faith research that respects user privacy and
avoids service degradation.
7. Changes and governing law
These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them, and the history is public in the repository that serves this page. Your continued use after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by applicable law. Courts of competent jurisdiction have authority over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
